Thank you to Patrizia for finding a new doodle for charity by Lucy for National Doodle Day on February 27, 2009. According to her autograph, her middle name is “Ursula.”
Leah has asked me to plug a competition at her Marian and Guy message board. Stirred, the board, is having a Christmas fanart competition. Please join!
As well, Lucy attended a Shine graduation in November. Thank you, Katie, for letting me know! There are two pictures from the event, but you need to squint to find her in the second one. They are in the gallery. I have a few more pictures Robin Hood-related to add soon, so stay tuned.
Hello. Thank you to Leah for sending us quite a few miscellaneous Lucy images, including what appears to be screen captures from a video taken at the National Television Awards in 2006. Also, I apologize for your comments not getting through and for the state of the forums. I am slowly finding time to get rid of all the spam so please be patient!
Thank you to Anna for sending this link about the Robin Hood season 2 DVD boxset. There is a video on the site where Lucy helps promote it!
November is almost finished and still no sign of U Be Dead. However, I found one small article today from November 18, saying that ITV plans to screen it in Winter/Spring. No date is set, though.
Edit - Support some of my friends and increase the view count on this silly video!
ITV winter/spring: Stalkers, serial killers, vampires and a Prisoner all feature in a packed line-up of new drama for ITV, on the day the broadcaster indicated it may scale back its output.
David Morrisey will star in the new thriller U Be Dead from indie Darlow Smithson. Based on the true story of stalker Maria Marchese, Morrisey will play Dr Jan Falkowski, whose world falls apart when a woman becomes dangerously obsessed with him.
I replaced the tagged Crystal Ball pictures in the gallery with newer, untagged versions. As well, I’ve been reading reports that Lucy has begun filming her part in Collision. No news yet on U Be Dead, which, according to the IMDb, is set to air this month. If you have any information, please let me know!
I finally got around to replacing more screen captures in the gallery with ones from the DVD. I made captures from episodes 10, 11, and 12 from the season 1 DVD. Watching parts of these episodes makes me miss the show! It also makes me sad that season 2 ended the way it did. No news on U Be Dead or Collision have appeared yet. U Be Dead is supposed to air next month so I suspect there will be promotional material soon! Enjoy the pictures.
It looks like no one from Robin Hood or even the show itself is shortlisted for the National TV Awards. I am very disappointed as I thought the show was getting a lot of attention. I especially thought Lucy did a great job during the second season. However, I am sure she will be recognized for her talent in the future!
First of all, I am still unsure as to when Lucy’s birthday really is. Websites are split between November 10 or October 11. Whenever it is, I hope a birthday wish somewhere in between those dates will be almost as good! So, here it is. Happy Birthday Lucy! We at LGO wish you the very best and the best of luck in your career.
As for the rest of you, the lack of updates only means that there has not been much news. As soon as news and pictures from U Be Dead and Collision pop up, there will be more updates, I promise!
The ITV website put up new information about the new five-part drama, Collision, starring our one and only Lucy. Many of the characters are mentioned, but there is no mention of Lucy or her character, Jane.
Filming has just begun on the five part serial made by Greenlit Rights, which tells the story of a major road accident and a group of people who have never met, but who all share one single defining moment that will change their lives.
Amid the tangle of twisted metal and emotional turmoil wrought by the tragedy of a crash of this scale, are the stories of the victims, and the impact of the accident on their families, friends and colleagues.
Thank you to Alex and Robin Hood 2006 for the news! Lucy is starring in a new drama called Collision, set to air February 2009. She plays a character called Jane. You can read a full article here.
ITV has commissioned a major new event drama serial from leading UK producer Greenlit Rights. Called Collision, the 5×60’ series is Peter Fincham’s first new independent drama commission, with director of drama Laura Mackie, since joining ITV as director of television.
Collision tells the story of a major road accident and a group of people who have never met and aren’t connected (as far as they know) but who all share one single defining moment that will change their lives.
Beyond the crumpled cars and the beleaguered emergency services are a series of invisible dramas that are rarely told, from Government cover-ups and smuggling, to embezzlement and murder. The serial ends with a devastating twist that will show all this death and mayhem was caused by the tiniest and most insignificant detail.
The ambitious serial will feature the largest collision ever shot in the UK for TV and will be delivered in February 2009.
